Flying KUL-LAX on MH92

We flew to Los Angeles on Malaysia Airlines MH92. This is a direct flight from Kuala Lumpur to Los Angeles, with a short 1.5 hour transit at Narita, Japan on a Boeing 777-200.

You will be well fed on the flight, and the food is a mix of Malaysian taste (rice & chicken), Japanese (cold noodles with wasabi & soy sauce), as well as American (sandwich).

Some tips that I can share with you:

Tip 1: the seat configuration on this flight is 2-5-2. I recommend purchasing your seats if you don't want to get stuck in the middle of the row. It is a 17-hour flight after all.

Tip 2: if you plan to buy something during your transit at Narita, purchase them on your way to LA. If you are returning to KL on MH93, the flight will arrive at Japan at 8pm, & most shops will be closed at that hour.

Tip 3: If you've never used a Japanese loo before (like me!), head to the toilets at Narita to play around with their tech-toilet. And yes, I tried all the buttons =)

Tip 4: try to be awake during the sunrise to view the fantastic blue-orange-hued sky.

Watching the sunrise was one of the best moments of the trip, and if you are a pilot, oh how I envy you =) .
